Choose your OWN adventure!
Adventure travel isn't just bungee jumping and sky-diving; your adventure may be experiencing new cultures through local visits, cooking classes, markets and wine-tastings. It may be biking the hills of Tuscany or hiking up volcanoes and mountains; a safari, kayaking or shark-cages. The possibilities and destinations are endless.Ask Sarah. She has experienced the adrenaline rush of zip lining in Costa Rica, shark-cage snorkeling in Hawaii, sand-dune sliding in Australia, white-water rafting in the Rockies, a sunrise on top of a mountain in Japan and trekking through the jungle at night in Borneo.
Many of her favourite adventures were more heartfelt, for example: watching baby turtles hatch at a turtle sanctuary, navigating the Chatuchak market in Bangkok, discovering Khmer ruins in Angkor Wat, being made-up like a Geisha in Kyoto, watching Kangaroos in Australia, the DMZ in South Korea, River Cruising on the Danube, and of course, finding the most delicious local food and wine to kickback with at the end of the day.
Family-friendly adventures are also in-demand, as more and more parents and grandparents wish to enrich the lives of their loved ones with the wonder of travel. Sarah has three children that travel with her frequently (whose grandparents also jump in on the adventures). She has endless ideas for creating amazing, life-long family memories.
Sarah joins the Niche Travel Group after managing a busy Dartmouth storefront travel agency for more than 12 years. She has booked thousands of trips all over the world and is passionate about creating a personalized vacation that fits each traveler's interests and zest for adventure.
